The women's brain grows after birth

Of course it changes after childbirth, and how. But more than we imagine, says a U.S. scientific research that has identified precisely which areas of the female brain that after giving birth to a child develop further.

The brain has to face a new situation and some areas of the central nervous system evolve and change through a process of biological neural connected to their birth. They are particularly relevant areas of reasoning, the system of emotions, feelings and judged rational to grow. That is, hypothalamus, amygdala, parietal lobe, the prefrontal cortex.

This brain growth was related to increased estrogen, oxytocin and prolactin that occurs just after childbirth. They are also the hormones that promote the creation of the emotional bond with the baby.
