Sugarco: a chair of candy

Anyone who designed a similar chair for children certainly had in mind the inherently ephemeral value of his work, since no one could expect a long lifetime of an object so greedy for children. The Sugarco made with full color candies and perfectly edible. It was conceived by the designer Pieter Brenner using about thirty pounds of sugar to coat a base of ginger, which provides the framework on which to attack the material of choice for this most unusual creation. Imagine what that would last into your child’s bedroom? If the choice is to sit or eat, for sure the first option would be considered barely. And then the similarity with a delicious lollipop is just too obvious. Too bad that the heat is set to become sticky.
