You know the old and not very friendly motto: either eat this soup or jump out the window? We’ve heard it repeated many times, albeit with several variations, during our childhood. Even my pediatrician insisted, does not cook a different dish for each person, but you eat what’s on the table.
Here, today I looked at what was on my table. I had a dish of vegetables because of diet post flu. My husband had a platter of several seconds and pens to provide (eats like a buffalo and is thin as a rail). My daughter was obsessed for a plate of white pasta.
I was undecided between the mocking of all the food rules and consider a real failure of my plan to teach my daughter to eat anything. Then I told myself that I know much, but many people who in childhood did not affect fruit and vegetables and who is now very healthy diet instead.
How are things then? We’re too careful? We are very careful? We are unnecessarily anxious? We can not impose ourselves as we should? Who knows the past winter, I do not return their forces to reflect more seriously on the subject of baby food.
