DIY a board-shaped globe

Explain the world to a child, the distances that are covered by plane, boat or train, different continents, it’s fun. In my case it is also useful because the family is across the ocean. Explain these things with a globe is easier, see the places, we see that among the Italian family and there is a lot of water that somehow you have to cross.
