Living for today but what about tomorrow? – Part 1

There are two days that we should not worry about. The first day is yesterday that has passed beyond our control. The second one is yesterday with all it’s possible adversities, it’s burdens, it’s sorrows and it’s chances. Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. As well as the cancer-affected person, there are family and friends who have to live with a new situation. At first, it takes some time to adjust. We found that trying to find out the facts about the particular cancer in our case was very helpful in understanding how it works and what it does. Various tests establish the exact stage of the Continue Reading

How to live a healthy life – Part 1

A healthy lifestyle encompasses mind, body, and spirit. All three require equal nourishment if you are to achieve optimal health. Neglect one and, no matter how well you feed the others, the body’s balance is thrown off.

The following are suggestions on living a healthy lifestyle. A few small changes may make a huge difference in your life.

Unhealthy thoughts, obsessions, and/or beliefs disrupt the mind/body connection and can lead to poor health. Stress, a product of the mind, is a major cause of heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, and Continue Reading
