At first glance, these children have skin covered with tattoos. Instead they are only images reworked by the artist Australian Dietrich Wegner, Which has implemented with some rubber sculptures infants who are tattooed with logos. The logo
s are known corporate brands such as Apple, Fed Ex, Lego, Coca-Cola in the hammer with which we advertise. The tattoos are fake, thankfully, and are made with Photoshop.
Wegner wants us to think about how cute kids are often “used” in advertising campaigns to find an easy success: a child cries or smiles catch consumers. The children in the picture, as in many spots that we sometimes see on TV, smiling to the camera to be completely unaware of the billboards.
On the other hand the majesty of the media and trademarks involving the lives of our children in all senses because the spots are often directed to them, because they are often spectators and players. What do you think?
